Căn biệt thự của gia đình chị Mai Khôi được hoàn thành vào giữa năm 2020 sau 1 năm thi công. Chị tâm sự rằng: “Cả quá trình thi công nhà rất suôn sẻ, dù xa quê tới 20 năm, lạ lẫm với mọi thứ nhưng may mắn tôi và ông xã không phải thay đổi chỉnh sửa một hạng mục nào”.
Chị cũng vui vẻ chia sẻ rằng hai vợ chồng đều xuất thân từ nông thôn nên anh chị khá thành thạo trong việc trồng trọt. Khuôn viên công trình của chị Mai Khôi rộng đến 800m2 nhưng chỉ dành 200m2 cho xây dựng khu nhà ở, 400m2 dành cho cỏ cây và 200m2 dành cho vườn rau. Vườn rau rộng 200m2 được bố trí ở phía sau nhà, là nơi chị Mai Khôi trồng nhiều cây ăn quả và rau sạch, cơi nới thêm một chuồng nhỏ để nuôi gà.
